The All-Inclusive Page of Links

Hi!  I decided to collect all my website links on the same page, for convenience.  Below is a complete list of sites I visit frequently, organized into categories that correspond with the different parts of my website.

Last Update: September 25, 2005
- Just one new link today, at the very bottom of the Anime category.

Cosplay - Digimon and Other Anime - Science Fiction - Disney - Fanfiction - Music - Blogs - Webcomics - Other

Cosplay Links

Cosplay.com - Photos, a great community, and more to come.  I post on the forums here as Emiko.

Cosplay Lab - I'm Emiko on this site, too.  The best thing about Cosplay Lab is that you can search for a character or a series and see many people's costumes.

A Fan's View - Photo coverage of any and all anime conventions.

Usagichan Search and Rescue - Same as above, but I always check both sites after a con because no one photographer can get pictures of everyone and everything at a con.  :-)

Anime Expo Website - Website for my local anime convention.

The Official Anime Expo Forums - Message boards where members can post comments about the convention for staffers to read.

Unofficial AX EZBoard Forums - Where a small group of AX attendees talk about the con and arrange gatherings throughout the year.

Akibiyori - Website for a local anime/cosplay picnic I might go to this year.  The name means "clear autumn day."

Digimon (and Other Anime) Links

AnimeLyrics.com - The place to find lyrics from Digimon and any other anime you can think of.

Anime Nation - News, shop, fanfic, fanart, and much more.

Anime News Network - Awesomely large collection of info, news, and reviews.

Anime Web Turnpike - The best starting place in any search for websites related to an anime.

City the Emerald Digital - This is the site with the biggest and best collection of Digimon gijinkas on the net.

Duckfeather.net - Home of Digimon Uncensored.  See under "Discontinued."

Digimon Central - A good site, with some very unique pages.

The Digimon Encyclopedia - Absolutely the best Digimon information site I've found.  Read about everything from characters to voice actors to toy reviews to episode trivia, and much more.  This is also the home of the Digimon FAQ.

F.E.T.'s Digimon Fandub.com - Download Digimon video clips with better English dialog than the pros could write!  :-D

The Haré+Guu Online Jungle - The official website for the upcoming anime release "Haré+Guu."

Lelola.net - Anime site with a good-sized Digimon section.

Megchan's Digimon Lyrics Page - When Megchan's Digimon site was taken down, this was salvaged.  Read the lyrics to much of the Japanese music from Digimon.

Toei Animation's official Digimon pages:
Adventure
Adventure 02
Tamers
Frontier
Savers (NEW!)

Science Fiction Links

TheForce.net - Star Wars news, fanfic, and much more.

JediCouncil.Net Forums - This is THE largest Star Wars board on the Net. Created on July 8, 1998, it has a forum for every possible aspect of Star Wars fandom.
I (Amy) am known as Barbara Fett on this board, but I don't post there very often.

Sev Wide Web - Comic strips that parody sci-fi and fantasy (Sev Space) and look into the life of a toddler (Terrible Twos).

Trek Today - Star Trek news items, updated almost daily.

The Trek BBS - I post on this board as Anzari of Q.  It's pretty cool.

The Gigantic Collection of Star Trek Minutiae - Great stuff that isn't on the official site (StarTrek.com).

Five-Minute Voyager - Hilarious, short parodies of many episodes of Star Trek and other sci-fi shows.

TripHammered - A tribute to Trip Tucker and all things Enterprise, this site can be both very funny and very thoughtful.

Enterprise Oddities - Cute Enterprise fanart in an anime-like style.

Worfie's Trivia - A Star Trek trivia game that I played every month for almost a year, and then it went on hiatus.

Flare Sci-Fi Forums
- Discussions on all things sci-fi, plus a strong creative community where you'll find artwork, model ships, and my favorite Star Trek fanfiction series, Star Trek: Series ?

Disney Links

The Hidden Mickeys Page - A comprehensive guide to every little secret about the Disney theme parks.  Great fun!

JimHillMedia.com - Awesome news page for recent entertainment-industry info.

MiceAge.com - Also covers Disney and other entertainment news.

Visions Fantastic - Amazing collection of audio and video clips and pictures from the Disney theme parks.

Fanfiction Links

FanFiction.Net - I could easily spend hours on end reading some of the hundreds of thousands of stories on this site. And a few of them are even mine! :-D

FictionAlley.org - Huge archive of Harry Potter fanfic.

MediaMiner.org - A lot of the people who have given up on FF.N have started posting their work here.  I've never read it, though.

Subreality Central - An archive of stories by a group of writers who all use Subreality as a setting for their stories.  Several of my stories are archived here.

Music Links

Bands of America - My school's marching band competes in at least one BOA event every year.  I post on the message boards here as Six of Eighteen.

Live365 - THIS SITE RULES.  When I'm on the Internet for a prolonged stretch of time, I'm sometimes listening to Live365 Internet radio.  It is just SO much fun, because you can listen to YOUR style of music - no matter what that may be.  :-)

MP3.com - Back in the day (in 2000), this was where I downloaded a lot of fan-created Star Wars music.  I hope it will still be available when the "new" MP3.com premieres.

Blog Links

WilWheaton.net - Wil is my blogging role model.  I'm on the mailing list, and I check the site for updates all the time.  It's really interesting to see what this actor's life is actually like.

Darold "axchair" Higa's LiveJournal - Read all about what it's like to be the chair of Anime Expo.

SubIntSoc: The Situation Room - Political/current events blog.

MaxBarry.com - The website and blog of Max Barry, a novelist whose work I enjoy.

Webcomics Links

Arthur, King of Time and Space - The classic legends retold in an ongoing webcomic.  Updated every single day.

Pixel - Enter the world of the tiny squares that make up everything you ever see on your computer.

The Whovian Observer - Humorous observations on Doctor Who and other sci-fi.

Gossamer Commons - The story of an aspiring writer who discovers that fairies are real.  I like this comic a lot because it's all about the story, which is original and interesting, as are the characters.  Updated Monday, Wednesday, and Friday.

Start Wreck - A parody of Star Trek (The Original Series).

General Protection Fault - The adventures of the geeky employees of a small software company.  I'm still working my way through the archives of this one, and I'm really enjoying it.

Other Links

The Agony Booth - "Hilarious—and hilariously long—reviews of notoriously bad movies!" - The Rockford Register Star's words, but I couldn't have described it better.  I post on the forums here as Emiko.

Baby Boomer Headquarters - Fun, sweet nostalgia site for the 1950s through 1970s.

Baby's Named a Bad, Bad Thing - Very funny page listing bad names for babies.  I check the Letter of the Day page all the time.

Big Bad Baby Names - The discussion forum for the above website.  I post on them as Emiko.

Computer Stupidities - Stupid but funny things people have done with computers.

Engrish.com - English writing seen in Asian countries is frequently nonsensical and often funny.  Engrish.com posts a new example every weekday.

Jabootu's Bad Movie Dimension - Another site devoted to reviews of B-movies.

Jere On Tour - I've actually met the owner of this webpage.  He's German, and I met him when his world cycling tour took him through Morro Bay, California, at the same time I was there on vacation.  My family let him spend the night in our rental house.  This is his travel journal.

Mark Rosenfelder's Metaverse - Much like my own website, the Metaverse has several categories of content related to stuff the author is into.

NationStates.net - A free nation simulation game.

Not My Desk - Stories of being a temporary employee.  Currently under reconstruction, but the archives have a lot of good stuff.

UniSci Science News - When I was a freshman in high school and I had to do current event reports for science class, I always got my events from here.

The Web Operas Home Page - Experience the operas of Gilbert and Sullivan (and others) through the power of HTML and MIDI!  :-D

X-Entertainment - Articles about random cheesy stuff, commercials from the 80's, and whatever else.  Warning: uses bad language.
